Kellogg’s French Toast Graham Crackers, Cinnamania French Toast
At 230 calories and 8 fat grams, the pouch of graham crackers is more than a snack. Nutritionally, it’s more along the lines of a side dish. The packaging claims it is a good source of calcium and four vitamins. They have no trans fats or cholesterol but a whopping 36 grams of carbs. And, oddly enough, contain 3 grams of protein. The 1.7 oz bag was a good supplement to my lunch of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
As for taste, the bite-sized crackers were sweet without being too sugary. The taste was like a sweetened graham cracker. They are far from bite-sized. I could get three bites out of one French toast cracker. They are very cute – actually shaped like a tiny piece of French toast. On the downside, they were hard as most graham crackers are and left me wishing I had a glass of milk as well. Overall, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the cereal, Cinnamon Toast Squares. I found myself preferring the less sugar of these crackers but missing the small, thinness of the cereal.
They were not too messy. I didn’t finish wearing more crumbs and sugar or cinnamon granules than the bag originally contained. I bought them in the Hearnes first floor vending machine for 75 cents.
